User Acknowledgement & Agreement
By clicking ‘Accept’ below, I confirm that I have read and fully understand the terms of the Shyft Admin Guide (if I am an administrator), the Shyft Associate Guide, and Rent The Runway’s IT Acceptable Use Policy. I agree that I am bound by and will comply with the terms of the Shyft Admin Guide, the Shyft Associate Guide, and Rent The Runway’s IT Acceptable Use Policy and all other Rent The Runway policies.
Additionally, I acknowledge that:
- The IT Acceptable Use Policy as well as Rent The Runway’s Code of Conduct, Time and Attendance, Policy Agsinst Discrimination and Harassment, CX Work Guidelines (for members of the CX team) and policies that apply to all work-related activities conducted within the Shyft app developed for Rent The Runway employees, and that corrective action up to and including termination could result if I violate these policies.
- If I am a non-exempt Administrator employee, I understand that approval or denial of schedule changes in the Shyft app must be completed during work hours and while I am “clocked in” to work. I also understand that I must accurately report all time worked, whether authorized or unauthorized.
- California employees: All approvals of shift change requests via Shyft can be done via company-provided computers or tablets. I understand that it is neither expected nor required to do so via a personal device. If I believe that I need to access the Shyft app from a location other than my worksite in order to do my job and I do not have a company-issued device with which to do so, I will promptly contact my manager or Human Resources in writing.
- I am voluntarily providing my personal contact information to Rent The Runway and I authorize Rent The Runway to contact me at any time through the personal contact information that I have provided and the means I have selected.
- I am solely responsible for any and all costs incurred as a result of using my personal device for receiving these notifications or access to the service. I understand that I can change your Shyft application settings so that it no longer uses data, but Wi-Fi services only.
- In Rent The Runway Operations teams the use of Shyft is entirely voluntary and Rent The Runway has provided alternative means for me to secure any and all information provided in the Shyft app, including but not limited to, information regarding shift notice availability, scheduling practices and other services. In Rent The Runway Customer Experience teams, Shyft is the primary resource for scheduling and I should contact Human Resources if I need an alternative resource for any reason.
- I have voluntarily downloaded & installed the Shyft app and I understand that I can uninstall it at any time. I understand that if I don’t have access to a smartphone I can access Shyft via desktop through RTR equipment.
- My access to Shyft may be revoked at any time.
- Rent The Runway is not responsible for any charges from your service provider that may result from the messaging service, including data charges. Like any mobile phone app, you understand that you can change your Shyft application settings so that it no longer uses your data plan but Wi-Fi services only.
- If I am a Customer Experience employee, I understand that any time off requests through Shyft are pending approval. Once approved I need to enter the time off in Workday for approval by my Team Lead in order to be paid (if applicable). Time off requests in Shyft are not applicable to Operations employees.
- I understand that I am responsible for any open shifts that I accept in Shyft and that attendance points will apply if I am unable to get a shift covered if I am unable to work.
