By clicking ‘Accept’ below, I agree, understand and confirm that:
Additional Hours Postings
- Any hours available within Shyft will be posted by store region.
- Any additional hours that become available through Shyft will be first offered to casual team members. Additional shifts may be offered to Permanent Team Members.
Commitment to shifts
If you sign up for additional hours through Shyft, you are expected to commit to these hours. If you fail to complete a shift which you signed up to work then this may be managed through performance discussions.
Reasonable Hours
The Warehouse Group is committed to ensuring that all team members work reasonable hours within the workplace. To ensure that team members do not work excessive hours, team members should not work more than 42.50 hours in one week. Any additional hours beyond 42.50 hours per week must be authorised by your Department Manager.
Allocation of available shifts
All shifts will be open in Shyft for 30 minutes initially and the Store Manager (or their delegated representative) will assess the best suited team member for the available hours. This will be based on:
- Team members’ availability
- Total hours the team member would work across the week (working within the Reasonable Hours guidance outlined above)
- Team member’s conduct (note: any concerns regarding performance, conduct or attendance will be considered)
Shyft Sign-Up Approval
Please be aware that Department Managers will have final approval of all team members whom sign up to Shyft. This is to ensure that team members’ worked hours and performance is appropriate. If there are any concerns with this the Department Manager will discuss this with the team member.
